The City of Austin, the City’s Ethics Review Commission, and the League of Women Voters Austin Area will sponsor virtual City Council Candidate Forums for city council candidates competing in the December 2020 election. Austin voters will elect council members in two Council districts on December 15, 2020. To find which District you live in, go to https://www.austintexas.gov/GIS/CouncilDistrictMap/  and then click on the blue ‘I want to’ button.

Dates and times of each council district candidate forum:

  • District 6: Monday, November 30th at 6 pm
  • District 10: Monday, November 30th at 6 pm

Individuals can watch the forums at ATXN.TV (ENG & SPA), cable TV channel 6, and AT&T U-Verse channel 99. The forum can also be heard on KAZI FM 88.7. Listening to the forums live by telephone in English and Spanish will also be available. You can dial an extension number to listen in either language. Extension numbers are listed below.
