The goal of the organization is to ensure an equitable and effective response to the coronavirus pandemic in Austin, with a long term goal of transforming Austin into a more equitable city. CRT operates as a collective of organizations and individuals, with representation from nonprofit, university, government, and grassroots organizations and leaders, with areas of interest spanning healthcare, economic recovery, education, food, housing, criminal justice, homelessness, social justice, philanthropy, and mutual aid.
