Austin’s 13th Annual Flood Safety Poster Contestis currently accepting submissions. Students in first through eighth grade are eligible to participate. All they have to do is make a poster using the headline “Save Yourself! Turn Around – Don’t Drown” or “¡Sálvate! Es mejor regresarse que ahogarse.” The first place winner will receive an $100 gift card and a ride on Lady Bird Lake in a swift water rescue boat with a first responder.
