This month’s symposium:
"The State of Texas Water"
With Texans currently experiencing drought conditions not seen since the 1950s, the Dallas Morning News asks, “Should We Pray for Rain?” Central Texas's various faith traditions mandate not only words of prayer, but prayerful deeds. What then can we do to preserve Texas rivers and water resources? Join one of Texas’ most outstanding water experts and conservationists — Professor Andrew Sansom, founder of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, former exec. dir. at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas Nature Conservancy, exec. dir. and Research Professor at the River Systems Insitute, noted & prolific ecological author, active member of Central Presbyterian Church, and more, for a talk and open Q&A about the state of water in our region and ways Texans of all faiths can engage in preserving Texas's beautiful, unique, natural water resources.
