Want to help build a brand-new playground in Austin? Want to do it in just six hours?
That’s what’s possible with KaBOOM!
KaBOOM is national nonprofit dedicated to giving all kids, especially those living in poverty, great, safe places to play. On November 6th, they’re building their first ever playground in Austin… and they need your help.
There are several opportunities for you to get involved:
- Monday, November 4th from 8am to 5pm – unloading equipment, inventorying materials, cutting wood, finishing site prep, sorting hardware
- Tuesday, November 5th from 8am to noon – finishing any tasks not completed the day before
- Wednesday, November 6th from 7:45am to 3pm – build day!!
The kid-designed, state-of-the-art playground will be installed at Wooten Neighborhood Park in north/central Austin.
