Tired of reading about nothing but bad news? Here’s a story that is sure to lift you up.

Last year, a community banded together and raised $10.3 million for 700 different nonprofit organizations… and they did it in only 24 hours. 

That community? It was Austin. And on February 28th, we’re going to try and do it again with Amplify Austin Day. 

Amplify Austin Day is a our city’s annual day of giving. All Austinites are encouraged to visit AmplifyATX.org and donate to whichever causes or nonprofit organizations they care most deeply about. Over the past six years, $45 million have been raised from Amplify Austin. That’s a whole lotta good!

Here’s how you can participate.

This year’s Amplify Austin Day lasts from Thursday, February 28th at 6pm to Friday, March 1st at 6pm. During that time, all you have to do is visit AmplifyATX.org and search for an organization that you want to support.

Already got one in mind? Participating is easy. You can search for your favorite local nonprofit directly by name.

Don’t really know who you want to support? That’s okay too. You can find local nonprofits to donate to simply by searching for a cause you’re interested in, like the environment or the arts.
