Water Forward University: Equity & Affordability

Join us to learn more about how Austin Water is incorporating equity and affordability in the City’s 100-year integrated water resource plan, Water Forward. Originally adopted by Council in 2018, the purpose of the Water Forward plan is to ensure a sustainable water supply for the City of Austin through challenges posed by drought, climate change and population growth. As a part of the 2024 plan update, Austin Water has been working with a Community Ambassadors Group to develop an Equity and Affordability Roadmap for the plan as a way to continue this mission.
