Shoal Creek Storytime And Nature Walk

Join Shoal Creek Conservancy on January 13th for an all-ages, family-friendly storytime! We will read a handful of our favorite children’s books that inspire stewardship and an appreciation for the outdoors at any age. Also, we’ll take a short walk along Shoal Creek and leave plenty of time for nature play!

Please wear comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and we recommend bringing water and any snacks you may need.

Shoal Creek Conservancy’s 10 Year Birthday Bash

Join us for the final event of the 2023 Shoal Creek Social and the kick-off into Shoal Creek Conservancy’s 10th year as an organization! SCC was founded in fall 2013, so we’re celebrating 10 Years with a Birthday Bash at Austin Beerworks. The Bash will include party games, cupcakes, a photo booth, a highlight reel from the last 10 years, and more. This event is free to attend and open to the public. Austin Beerworks is a kid and dog-friendly venue, so bring all of your little ones, furry and otherwise. Food & drinks will be available for purchase.

Friday, September 15th, 5pm-8pm at Austin Beerworks

Make-your-own native seed packet, take the Shoal Creek Audio Walking Tour, spoil your dog with treats and a bandana, enjoy snacks, cold beverages, and more. No registration is needed – just stop by between 9am-1pm.

Pollinator Tour Along Shoal Creek

Join Shoal Creek Conservancy and Katie Ortiz, a local beekeeper, this April 22nd for a free tour along Shoal Creek! We’ll chat about all things pollinators and Katie will share her experience as a beekeeper in the greater Austin area.

Please be sure to bring water, and snacks if needed. All ages are welcome, with supervision. Please wear shoes you feel comfortable walking in and dress for the weather. At this time, masks are optional.
