SUMMARY:Holiday Tree Recycling Dropoff
DESCRIPTION:Don’t throw away your holiday tree; give it another life by recycling it! Starting December 26\, City of Austin curbside customers can recycle their Christmas and holiday trees by leaving them at the curb on their regular collection day. All other residents can drop trees off at Zilker Park.\n\n \nAll Austinites are invited to contactless drop-off events to recycle their non-artificial holiday trees at Zilker Park\, even if they are not City of Austin customers. Trees with flocking (artificial snow) are not accepted. Please do not place trees in bags\, and remember to remove all ornaments\, decorations\, tinsel\, lights and tree stands before arrival. All-natural holiday wreaths and garlands are accepted – please remove them from wire frames.\n\n \nDrop-off is between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the following dates:\n-Saturday\, Dec. 30\, 2023\n-Saturday\, Jan. 6\, 2024\n-Sunday\, Jan. 7\, 2024\nLearn more at austintexas.gov/treerecycling.
