Often physical and visual but \nincreasingly multi-sensorial; the aesthetics of which create memories and increase one’s desire \nto be there. To return for more. \n  \nEstablishing a sense of a place – when thoughtfully considered through public art – distinguishes \nneighborhoods and becomes enhanced attractions to business districts. Housed within \ncorporate and public facilities\, integrated among streetscapes and placed throughout our parks \nand trails; public art can shape the aesthetics of a place by imparting indelible and unforgettable \nimpressions. \n  \nA Sense of Place Public Art Conversation offers an opportunity to re-imagine how art in public \nplaces impacts the built environment. Topics will focus on ideas of impact\, the sensibilities of \nsite-specific and site-responsive artworks\, permanence and the healing aspects of being in \nnature with art. \n  \nJoin us.
